For much of the history of the Isle, lifemates Aerva and Tinar have been the eldest living elves. Aerva is the first-born of all the elves descended from Var and his followers.Tinar was born from Aerva's sister Solarn. Their lifemating has withstood many trials, including second Recognitions on the part of both to other elves.
