Brownstone was the eldest of the four siblings, A powerful rockshaper, she led the second--and successful--attempt to create a LakeHolder,

sculpturing beavers ('small-pond builders) at either end. She was killed when humans, travelling up the gorge below the Lakefalls, surprised the celebrating elves.

She never Recognized, but she did have two children outside of Recognition.
